German police raid homes connected to Hamas, pro-Palestinian groups

German police and prosecutors have reportedly raided homes in Berlin connected to Hamas and other pro-Palestinian groups in the latest crackdown of an investigation into suspected financial fraud and money laundering.

According to reports, the raids happened in several places and involved more than 200 officers.

The investigation is related to the alleged misuse of funds from international aid organizations and other non-profits.

The alleged misused funds reportedly involved payments to dozens of people in Germany and other countries.

Hamas, which controls Gaza, is considered a terrorist organization by many Western countries, including Germany.

Hamas has denied any connection to the raids.
