The latest news in the world of Bitcoin ATM networks is that users in Argentina now have access to the Lightning Network. The network, which is a Layer 2 scaling solution used for transferring Bitcoin (BTC) transactions more quickly and cost-effectively, is now available at 42 ATM locations in the Latin American country. This is according to cryptocurrency analytics firm CriptoConsultora, which announced the news on Twitter yesterday. According to the company, the Lightning Network support has been added in partnership with a local firm called Odiny Solution, a self-service technical support company. This is a major development as it is the first time a Bitcoin ATM network has added support for the Lightning Network in Latin America.
